I saw Fela in my dreams and we had a long conversation – Skiibii

Popular Nigerian singer, Abbey Toheeb Elias, professionally known as Skiibii Mayana, has revealed that he saw legend music star Fela Kuti in his dream.

Skiibii took his revelation to his official Twitter page as he stated that he had a long conversation with Fela Kuti when he visited him in his dream.

Fela Anikulapo Kuti is regarded as the king of Afrobeat, Nigerian music genre. The legend made music well-known across the world. He uses his musical rhythm for social protest. 

Recreating the style of Fela Kuti, Skiibii released his first and newest song of year 2023, ‘Back to sender’. Dressing in old skool, the singer showcased the glamorous entry of the song.

Giving tributes to the king of afrobeat, Skiibi said that he had a wonderful converstaion with Fela.

He wrote, “I saw Fela in my dream today, we had a long conversation and everything made sense to me 😢 RIP pops 🕊”.
