Amelia Pounds, a socialite and businesswoman from Nigeria, died in New Delhi, India, as a result of complications after liposuction.

She apparently passed away while getting the procedure at an unnamed facility in India early on Friday, October 7.

Unknown as to what led to the difficulties, a video that has gone viral online depicts the deceased’s lifeless body lying on a hospital bed while the surgeon is heard professing his regrets to the patient.
