Why you should quit from criticising our leaders — Pastor Adeboye advise Nigerians

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has asked Nigerians to refrain from criticizing the government.

On Sunday, October 2, the preacher argued that Nigerians should pray for their leaders in order for them to make lasting development rather than criticizing them.

Adeboye, who based his lecture on 1 Corinthians 7:13–14 in the Bible, stated that complete peace refers to a state of calmness that is never interrupted because “storms are in categories.”

If Nigerians desire peace and the ability to weather the storm, he urged people to quit criticizing their leaders and start praying for them.

According to him, “In the olden days, except you are one of the special people, they don’t allow the king’s dress to touch you, but now kidn@ppers can go to the palace to kidn@p the king. We are in a w@r situation, let no one deceive you. What kings and soldiers can’t do, the almighty God will do for you.

God will heal the land and intervene in various issues affecting the country negatively and I want to urge the people to prepare to join me very soon for fasting and prayer for the country. Pray for the rulers, we have spent so much time critici§ing them. You should pray for them. I am praying for them, and I pray you will join me to pray.”
